The Spring 2018 issue of our open access journal, Postgraduate English, is out now. Postgraduate English is one of the longest-running online journals for early-career literature scholars; it accepts submissions from postgraduate and postdoctoral researchers around the world. This issue was edited by Gareth Reeves and Olly Teregulova.
Articles in this issue:
- Guy’s Transformation in Stanzaic Guy of Warwick as a Sensory Experience by Isra’a Alqallab (Bangor University, Wales)
- Decoding the Ancestral Land: The Poetics of Place, Space and Time in V. S. Naipaul’s India Trilogy, by Satarupa Sinha Roy (University of Calcutta, India)
We’ll be looking in more depth at each of these articles on READ over the coming weeks.
This issue also features reviews of the book Education in Nineteenth-Century British Literature, by Sheila Cordner.
A new call for submissions for the next issue is now out. Postgraduate English is blind peer reviewed by an established board of academics. Even if your submission is not accepted this can offer valuable feedback on your work. Follow this blog or register with the journal to receive updates.
