For its final reading of the year, Colpitts Poetry brings back to Durham two familiar faces: Don Paterson was Book Festival Laureate in 2011, while Kathleen Jamie has worked alongside various institutions around Durham, including the Centre for Medical Humanities. Don Paterson’s new collection, 40 Sonnets (Faber and Faber), is shortlisted for the T.S. Eliot Prize, which he has previously won twice. Kathleen Jamie has won the Forward Prize in 2004 and the Costa Poetry Prize in 2012. Her new collection is The Bonniest Companie (Picador).
