Maverick Mayhem: Miriam Gamble and Peter Mackay (Poetry reading, 4th December)

gamble mackayColpitts Poetry has so far brought to Durham three pioneering female poets, and two wits; now it’s time for some maverick mayhem. Join Miriam Gamble and Peter Mackay for a provocative evening of poetry. Doors open at 20.00 on 4th November, in Alington House, Durham.

Miriam Gamble has won the Eric Gregory and Somerset Maugham awards. Her most recent collection is Pirate Music (Bloodaxe). Peter Mackay is a BBC New Generation Thinker. His pamphlet From Another Island was published by Clutag Press in 2010.

The following and final Colpitts reading before Christmas will feature two Scottish masters, Don Paterson and Kathleen Jamie. This will be on 11th December.
