Maverick Voices and Modernity, 1890–1939


Maverick Voices“Maverick Voices and Modernity” is an international conference whose aim is to explore and reflect upon the wide range of writers that were caught up in the Modernist moment, but traditionally fall outside of what has been thought of as literary Modernism. 

The organisers of the conference are pleased to announce that the Call for Papers has now been extended to 31st March 2013. Keynote speakers at the conference, which runs from 5th to 6th July, include Professor Chris Baldick (Goldsmiths College, University of London) and Professor Michael O’Neill (Durham University).
