English Events in July 2012

Our English Events newsletter for July 2012 is now available. The newsletter lists a wide variety of literature-related events taking place at Durham University and across the wider North East region.

Highlights at Durham University this month include a conference on the British modernist poet Basil Bunting, and the annual conference of the Medieval and Early Modern Student Association, which this year is themed around Transition and Transformation in Medieval and Early Modern Cultures.

Elsewhere, Newcastle University hosts a conference on Crabbe’s Tales, whilst the World Shakespeare Festival comes to the Northern Stage, with an educational event on Remaking Shakespeare.
